    Pros +

    • Next to a building site working 24/7 and Bands playing at Barista until midnight. Too much !
    • The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful; we felt that our experience was important to them. The hotel facilities were new, with a diverse and impressive design. The breakfast was very good and satisfying.
    • What can I say. From the smooth check in to the small details in the room, everything was just done right. Even things you don’t expect, like my phone charging cords being untangled and neatly organised in the bedroom. It’s little touches like this that remind me why I always choose to stay at W Hotels whenever I can.Breakfast was excellent as usual and never a disappointment. Great variety and quality, with staff constantly checking in to make sure everything is ok and guests are looked after. The only thing I’d call out is the bar service at some venues, especially the pool and beach bars. For the prices being charged for cocktails, the drinks should be made to a higher standard. A bit more training on cocktail preparation would make a big difference.Overall, a really solid stay and I’d happily come back.

    Cons -

    • Due to renovation and construction work around the hotel, the noise from the construction was heard throughout the night and morning, essentially throughout our entire stay in the room. Moreover, the construction activities caused traffic changes towards the hotel, resulting in heavy congestion at the entrance and exit. Aside from the noise and traffic due to the extensive construction nearby, our overall experience was very good
    • Check in was quite slow and when we reached our room 10mins in a service staff knocked the door and just opened it while we are in the room (asking if we needed anything) - I will never understand why staff can just open someone’s room knowing people are inside. Unacceptable

Typical W Hotel - Very entertaining

Location effected too much by traffic.Attiko Restaurant must decide what means the dresscode “chic “. I went there with a classic short, loafers and linen shirt and had to go back to room to change to trousers, while there were lot o people with bad looking jeans and sneakers….. No comment

Everything. Staff are very welcoming and helpful, fast service, nice rooms and decorations.

Maybe the location as it is located in a very traffic area, and there are constructions around which is noisy if you want to sit at your balcony, otherwise you can’t hear much in your room

Already a W fan, I was enchanted by this property. Wish this had been a proper holiday, rather than a rushed biz trip! The whole team is utterly charming and goes the extra mile. I'll be back. I could write 1,000 words on the clever, ingenious design (especially the suites and rooms). I won't... suffice to say most rooms I've stayed in recently were designed by people with scant regard for clothing and handbag storage, hair & make up or ironing requirements etc. These rooms are was designed (I think by Blink) with wit, clever references to the local vernacular and creative pragmatism. Absolutely adored the little cocktail bar, the upholstery, custom rug and swivelling coffee station and the bed was insanely great. I will stop now. Tried all the bars and restaurants. Attiko is v good but I liked the intimacy of Ginger Moon - better for a quiet chat. It's VERY challenging to find a spot by the beautiful adults-only Ginger Moon pool, which has only around 40 loungers. Spent a gorgeous few hours there on my last day and was so well looked after by the wonderful manager and his team that I stayed for drinks with one friend and returned for dinner with another. The brand new Viya fitness facility is astonishing - enormous gym with the latest equipment and 3 studios for Reformer, Boxing, Spinning and so forth. Padel coming soon. You can also do good Reformer Pilates classes at Blended on the ground floor.

Current pricing seems a bit too good to be true: that's because of the extensive noisy and unattractive ongoing construction adjacent to the property. The area is almost unrecognisable. Banging noises and music from Barasti will get through the earplugs provided and thick sliding balcony doors. So, either request a garden facing room or take something to help you sleep. That's less of a problem than the traffic, though: it took me 90 mins to reach Gigi for dinner one evening. To speed things up, cross the main road on foot, using the tram bridge and either jump on the tram to Al Sufouh or hail a car from the Tamani; you will literally shave at least 40 minutes off your journey at peak times. As a W guest, you also can access all of the Westin and Mina Seyahi facilities including the beach, various pools and kids' water park free of charge. It is apparently mpossible to find a sun lounger at peak times, so beach bunnies need to arrive early and use the same day reservation system.

We loved the staff, everyone smiled and said hello. The front staff was always very accommodating and answered all of questions about addresses, entertainment outside of the hotel and restaurants. Those in the entry always helped with bags and opening our doors for all of our cabs. Those in the pool areas were also very attentive and always treated my family well. The staff was amazing.

I had zero complaints honestly. We loved how calm the hotel felt. We knew where to go for dinner and drinks if we wanted to be a bit more of a lively environment. Everything was great! We wish we could have stayed longer. The only small downside I see is the size of your beds. A queen size in the USA is a twin size bed for you. It was extremely small. And pillows were not great at all. Very thin and do not fluff up. We had to double them to feel comfortable enough. Otherwise the rooms were also great with amazing views!

The breakfast buffet at Ginger Moon was delicious. I loved the avocado toast with the pouched egg. Pool area was beautiful.

That there was traffic and construction when I was staying there.

Very disappointing experience. The reception was extremely slow; check-in took me almost two hours. I had requested two rooms, yet they refused to provide connecting ones or even rooms on the same floor, claiming the hotel was full – which did not make sense. The entire area is surrounded by construction, making it very difficult to get out; it can take up to an hour just to pass one intersection. Overall, it was a terrible experience from every aspect. Even the room itself was overpriced for what it offered.

    The 3 hotels experience

We booked and paid a sea view room we end up with construction views . They changedSecond day at 5:00pm after we decided to check out

The staff were outstanding. Every staff member was always so warm and welcoming and nothing was ever a hassle. I particularly wanted to mention some areas:> The breakfast buffet staff were incredible - always so attentive and so friendly making it a fabulous experience> We had a cocktail in the bar just to the left of reception - wonderful staff who offered suggestions and checked on us whilst we drank> Housekeeping - these guys were incredible. Their attention to detail was beyond expectations. I would come back from a day out to find the room spotless, but with little additions like a jewellery box for my jewellery, a little velcro band for my charge cordsWe were celebrating our wedding anniversary and we gifted with a beautiful cake, card and balloons. The room was also beyond our expectations and we loved the upgrade.

The view of the construction. I know this is not something that the hotel can control but I booked a seaview room so I could see the water, and could barely see anything because we were only on the 10th floor and blocked by the construction.

We had an amazing time! The bedroom was perfect – cozy, comfortable, and beautifully designed. We also had a lovely view overlooking the Palm, which made our stay feel extra special.

There’s nothing major we didn’t like. It just would have been nice if the hotel had a proper coffee shop with pastries, cookies, and croissants. There is a bar lounge that serves coffee, but not the full café experience.

    2khooriPosted on: 8-25-2025

The pool area is disaster and not well organized, people are reserving the chair which is near to the pool and leaving for the water park and other pool. I waited near to the pool for more than one hour to find one chair but unfortunately no one came back to take their stuff and I noticed that no one was in the pool itself. I recommend to have a rule that people who are leaving the pool area take their stuff with them and be fair to others! We are in Dubai, the city of fairness and respect. People should think and feel about others, empathy is important and selfishness is not our value here in Dubai!!!
